My passion for creativity in the kitchen started at an early age when I would watch my mother in the kitchen either cooking or baking. I would think of all the things I would love to cook and make believe I would cook a feast fit for a king. I remember the first cake I made I was just 11, I forgot to put a little salt but my father thought it was such a great cake which inspired me to do more. From then on I was constantly experimenting. I have always envisioned what I would like my food plate to look like and from there my creativity has always flowed. All throughout elementary and high school I took all of the home economics/ food and nutrition classes and that led me to the path of finally going to school to become a chef.
For the past 15 or so years I have enjoyed cooking and baking for a variety of people. I have shared my passion of baking and cooking with Ambassadors, friends, family members as well as some wonderful residents at retirement and nursing homes. It has been a real pleasure to be challenged in many ways to up my creative side in the kitchen. It is also my pleasure to share the kitchen with my oldest daughter Shupikai who has a fresh mind and a fresh outlook on how we can show our talents. As our journey continues and grows I hope you can all take a little of what we bring and put your kitchen creativity to work. As intimidating as it seems at times, just know that trial and error is always going to bring about a great learning experience. Join us on this journey and let us bring joy to your cooking and baking, but of course if you ever need someone else to do your cooking and baking, you can always count on us.
